A completely restored Kauri chair
This gorgeous little chair has undergone a total restoration including:

- Re-gluing joints where needed
- Complete re-polishing job to natural colourings
- Reupholstered in the traditional manner using English black and white webbing, coil hand lashed springs and new horse hair fillings
- Seat and back stitched as appropriate; calico and wadding applied before top cover, then cords and gimp to dress the chair.

Delightful 1920s footstool for sale
A completely restored footstool approximately dating from the late 1920s.
The frame has been dismantled and the joints re-glued and then the show wood (believed to be a mahogany) was re-polished.
The upholstery is completely new with English black and white webbing with a hessian over, then stuffed and stitched with new horse hair filling for both the first and second fillings, then a covering of calico with wadding over prior to top cover.
The cover is Hawkswick col Dusk by Warwick Fabrics, and is finished with a multi colored scroll gimp.
Measurements approximately 370mm wide x 290mm deep. Height from floor to top of stool: 210mm.
